Nicole Mascarello LM, CPM
Nicole, is a deeply rooted and passionate midwife in the Rio Grande Valley. She has been serving families in Texas since 2017. She is the heart and hands behind Blessed Womb Birthing Center, where she offers both home birth and birth center services to families in and around San Juan, TX.
Nicole brings more than just clinical expertise to the midwifery community — she brings compassion, mentorship, advocacy, and deep connection. When asked about her unique strengths, she shares her love for herbal medicine, homeopathy, emotional support, and teaching. And it’s clear in every word that these aren't just skills — they are extensions of her calling.
“I love teaching anything and everything related to pregnancy and birth,” Nicole says. “I have extensive experience with VBACs, breeches, and twins. I’m happy to host workshops, write educational materials — just let me know what you need.”
For Nicole, midwifery is about more than just births. It’s about community, sisterhood, and shared growth. She sees midwives not as competitors, but as allies — and her desire to help build a stronger, more unified midwifery network across Texas is exactly why she’s drawn to Texas Community Midwives.
“TCM is a place for midwives to create a sisterhood and where relationships are strengthened by our love of midwifery,” she says. “Community support means helping all midwives in Texas — in whatever way they need.”
Nicole’s generosity doesn’t stop at her clients’ doors. She’s also committed to mentoring newer midwives, opening her space for Encouragement Weekends, and offering her wisdom in herbal and alternative care to anyone willing to learn. Her presence is steady, wise, and grounded — a true gift to both birthing families and fellow midwives.
We’re so grateful to have Nicole in our community, and we’re excited to grow alongside her as we build spaces of support, connection, and empowerment across Texas.
